Professor Dame Anna Dominiczak giving the keynote speech

Professor Dame Anna Dominiczak gave the Keynote address at the Living Laboratory Healthcare Innovation Conference on the 8th November at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. 

The conference was held to show the transformative triple helix approach embraces by the Living Laboratory and explore the thriving healthcare innovation landscape within the Glasgow Riverside Innovation District. At the conference the new Digital Health Validation Lab was introduced. This is a new innovation asset to speed up market access for digital health technologies. 

The University of Glasgow-led Living Laboratory for Precision Medicine, with funding from the UKRI Strength in Places Fund, is an internationally leading programme focused on translating cutting-edge science and healthcare innovation into a real-world clinical setting. Offering a vibrant and supportive ecosystem that facilitates a ‘triple helix’ partnership between academia, industry and the NHS, the Living Laboratory enhances open innovation and enables the co-development of ideas and real-world testing of innovations in state-of-the-art facilities to actively accelerate their routine clinical use.
