Dr James Curneen

We would like to welcome Dr James Curneen to the School. 

"Dr. James Curneen is a Specialist Registrar in Clinical Pharmacology & Therapeutics in University College Hospital Galway, Ireland. James has worked as a Clinical Lecturer in prescribing and pharmacology in the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and is an Adjunct Lecturer in University of Galway. He has a first-class honours for his MSc in Clinical Research. James was successful in gaining a scholarship on the ICAT (Irish Clinical Academic Training) programme, a funded, cross-institutional, integrated clinical and PhD programme for clinician scientists. The programme has a particular focus on international collaboration, including international supervisors, and emphasises a cross-disciplinary approach. James will be travelling to the University of Glasgow to perform research on antihypertensive drug delivery in hypertensive animal modes as part of his PhD programme with Dr Delyth Graham, Senior Research Scientist in Cardiovascular & Metabolic Health and is very excited to be given the opportunity to work in the SCMH."
