Clinical Attachments 

Clinical Attachments are undertaken during Phase 4 of the curriculum (from the middle of year three onwards).  

Students are attached to a specific hospital, where they are located a base ward and assigned to an individual Educational Supervisor. 

Students undertake a series of rotating clinical attachments as follows:

MBChB4 or 5 ENT/Ophthalmology 5 weeks
MBChB4 or 5 General Practice 5 weeks
MBChB4 or 5 Musculoskeletal  5 weeks
MBChB4 or 5 Neurology/Cardiology 5 weeks
MBChB4 or 5 Obstetrics & Gynaecology 5 weeks
MBChB4 or 5 Psychiatry 5 weeks

  • Monday 17 February until 21 March 2025
