We are delighted that Liam Devlin has been awarded a Kennedy Scholarship for postgraduate study at Harvard University.  He will undertake the Special Student programme at Harvard’s Graduate School of Arts and Sciences in the 2021-22 academic year.

Liam attended the University of Glasgow as a mature student from 2012-2017, graduating with an MA in Archaeology and Classical Civilisation. He has since graduated with an MPhil in Archaeology from the University of Cambridge and specialises in cultural heritage protection in the Middle East, with a focus on the illicit antiquities trade.

The Kennedy Scholarships are prestigious awards which form part of the UK’s official memorial to President John F. Kennedy, and the Trust seeks to promote ideals of intellectual endeavour, leadership, and public service through the Scholars we support. Kennedy alumni have gone on to leading positions in a wide range of professional fields, including academia, government, journalism, business, and the arts, making a positive difference to society through their ideas and action.
