Inaugural lectures are given by new professors who are invited to give a public lecture to mark the occasion of their appointment/promotion. The lectures are intended for non-specialist audiences, and celebrate not only the new professor’s research field as well as their achievements.

Staff and students of the University are welcome to attend, as well as family and friends.
