Potential Topics List:

This Special Collection invites papers across the spectrum of health research methods and analysis and will include (but is not limited to) the following topics:

• Perspectives of conceptual or methodological challenges related to burden of treatment or patient capacity to access care and self-manage multimorbidity or comorbidity

• Systematic Reviews of the literature relating to burden of treatment or patient capacity in multimorbidity or comorbidity

• Studies of patient, caregiver, healthcare professional or policymaker perspectives on burden of treatment or capacity support

• Studies developing or using measures of burden of treatment or patient capacity in people with multimorbidity or comorbidity

• Studies exploring the relationship of burden of treatment or patient capacity concepts and quality of life, wellbeing, disability or healthcare outcomes

• Studies reporting on the design or evaluation of interventions to address burden of treatment or promote patient capacity to self-manage for people living with multimorbidity or comorbidity

• Studies assessing the cost implications of burden of treatment or financial capacity in people with multimorbidity or comorbidity
