In our Hub consultation, 'information about health and wellbeing services in communities' was one of the top priorities for participants who also identified the issue of 'digital exclusion in some areas and among some groups'. We have responded to this by having a drop-in space where people can access local information, along with our free laptop loaning initiative.

Every third Friday of the month from 11am-1pm, Wowers (Weekday Wow Factor members) and student volunteers will be on hand for some tea and chat and to help you to find activities in your local area that you might be interested to try.

ALISS (A Local Information System for Scotland) is a national, digital system that helps communities work together to find and share information about local groups, organisations, activities and services that can support health and wellbeing. ALISS is funded by the Scottish Government and managed by the Health and Social Care Alliance Scotland (the ALLIANCE) so is completely free to use for anyone wishing to add or search for information. Our volunteers will help you to navigate this database at these community drop-in sessions.

We also have a community spotlight where groups come in to talk about their organisation or project. If you're interested in participating please email: byreshub@glasgow.ac.uk.
