Congratulations to Dr Kelum Gamage, Co-Director of Glasgow College UESTC Centre for Educational Development & Innovation who has been elected as a Principal Fellow of the Advance HE (PFHEA).

He became the 8th PFHEA currently working for the university and the first academic from the College of Science and Engineering to join 1,500 other Principal Fellows recognised (out of 150,000 fellows) around the world. Dr Gamage’s nomination for the Principal Fellowship recognises his active commitment to and championing all Dimensions of the UK Professional Standards Framework (UKPSF), through work with students and staff, and in institutional developments. In particular, it recognises his commitment and contribution to student learning, as well as the positive influence he has as a strategic leader in learning and teaching within and beyond the University of Glasgow.  

Dr Gamage said: “I am delighted to have been selected as a Principal Fellow of the Advance HE. It is a real honour and I’m keen to support and mentor others to work towards any level of the Fellow scheme”.
