Willie McGuire has now delivered, by invitation, inaugural seminars on NETN to the TEIs responsible for the provision of English in Education throughout Scotland including the universities of: Edinburgh; Edinburgh Napier; The West of Scotland; Dundee and Stirling.
Willie McGuire has now delivered, by invitation, inaugural seminars on NETN to the TEIs responsible for the provision of English in Education throughout Scotland including the universities of: Edinburgh; Edinburgh Napier; The West of Scotland; Dundee and Stirling.
The network, of which Willie is the Director, serves both academics and students. Staff are provided with a collegial forum to debate and create a future provision to advance the subject, while students have become co-creators of the website and are themselves responsible for generating resources, academic writing and 'lightning talks' (three-minute synopses of excellent subject teaching ideas) on topics relating to the teaching of English.
