PPF members spoke on multiple topics at the European Conference on Educational Research, hosted by the University of Glasgow.

  • Dr Utkun Aydin and her international colleague presented “Middle school students’ mathematics achievement: Do test anxiety and metacognition matter?” 

  • Dr Sarah Anderson, Ms Evelyn Mclaren, Dr Khadija Mohammed (UWS), and Dr Clare Smith presented an invited roundtable talk for EERA network 27 (didactics, teaching and learning). The talk was led by network convenor Prof. Dr. Anke Wegner, Universität Trier. Topics included the partnership model in ITE at the University of Glasgow, the challenges of judging new teacher practices in ITE, and the National Anti-Racism Framework for Initial Teacher Education in Scotland.
  • Dr Ismail O. Zembat, Dr Cristina Mio, Dr Utkun Aydin and Evelyn Mclaren presented “Exploring preservice teachers’ use of definitions for trapezium”.
