Congratulations to Dr Mel Selfe on winning The David H. Culbert IAMHIST-Routledge Prize for Best Article of 2020.

Each year the members of IAMHIST Council vote for prizes for the best articles by both an established scholar and a new scholar appearing in the Historical Journal of Film, Radio and Television.

The prize-winning article ‘Use the songs to sell your SHOW!” Sam Goldwyn, the Eddie Cantor musicals and the development of product-centred marketability‘, appeared in Historical Journal of Film, Radio and Television, 40: 4 (December 2020), pp. 649-682.
