On 7 October, representatives of the Royal Society of Edinburgh, Royal Irish Academy and the Learned Society of Wales met at a Foundation for Science and Technology roundtable. There was a wide-ranging discussion of the UK Government’s R&D Roadmap. CCPR’s Philip Schlesinger was one of the RSE’s fellows present at the meeting, to which he contributed his thoughts. The discussion will inform future policy initiatives by the Celtic Academies Alliance.
