Dr Alice Masterson has recently joined the subject area as Lecturer in Music Industries, covering for Dr Matt Brennan's research leave.

A recent graduate of the University of York with a PhD on the reception of female musicians who died from drug-related causes, she will be supervising dissertations and leading the Popular Music Research and Working in Music courses on the MSc Music Industries degree from September 2023.
