Professor Tom Van Agtmaels inaugural lecture was held on the 6th October at the Clarice Pears Building
On Friday the 6th October, Professor Tom Van Agtmael's inaugural lecture was held at the Clarice Pears Builidng. The lecture was hosted by Head of School Professor Christian Delles.
Tom's lecture was on Collagen: cosmetic or vital and around 50 people attended the event. Tom became Professor of Matrix Biology and Disease in 2022 and his research continues to focus on investigating the roles of collagen in common and genetic forms of disease, in particular vascular disorders such as cerebral small vessel disease, with the aim of developing treatments.
