As part of the Technician Commitment Stage-3 Action Plan there has been a recruitment drive for new Technician Champions across the University. The role is to represent the technician voice within their service area (School, College) and University. Champions promote greater colleague engagement, support communications, technical community-building activities and the sharing of best practice between areas. They will liaise and engage with the steering group, senior managers and technicians within their School/College, facilitating two-way communication and feedback key issues locally.

Ross Hepburn has taken on the role of Technician Champion with SCMH and has been invited to meet the Technician Champion group on 7th March.
