Group of people sitting round

On Tuesday 20th February we had a tour of the BHF GCRC labs. The school works closely with the British Heat Foundation to improve the lives of people with heart disease. We were happy to have the opportunity to host a tour for the British Heart Foundation donors and show them how their donations make a difference.

The tour was a great success, and we are thankful tour BHF 4-year students and our staff who led the way. The BHF supporters were taken on a guided to tour of our facility as well as presentations from our students. They were also shown cells by Dr Sheon Samji.

The students gave passionate talks on their work. They answered questions and provided valuable insight into the work we do here at the school. The BHF team left the tour with a greater understanding of what their money is going.

We cannot overstate the importance of the British Heart Foundation’s support in our work. Their contributions enable us to continue our research and provide life-changing treatments and care for those affected by heart disease. We are grateful for them for their continued partnership and the opportunity to display the incredible work we do together.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank the British Heart Foundation Supporters who took the time to visit our school and learn more about our work. Your support and dedication to our cause are appreciated and will continue to make a difference to those affected by heart disease.
