Eunice Ntobedzi Hanna (MSc Management, Enterprise and Business Growth, 2016) has been shortlisted by Study UK for their 2024 Business and Innovation Award as one of this year's finalists. The Alumni Awards celebrate the outstanding achievements of international alumni who have studied in the UK, with the Business and Innovation award recognising those who are active in initiating and contributing to innovative or creative new ideas, solutions or business opportunities.

Eunice has been shortlisted as a finalist for her work in advancing the clean energy transition. Eunice co-founded African Sun Energy in 2020, which has since grown from a small, self-funded business into three companies in Botswana, Malawi and Zambia, delivering clean energy services to communities and commercial clients.

"I am deeply honored to be nominated as a Global finalist for the category Business and Innovation Award 2024! As a Chevening Scholar from the University of Glasgow, co-founding African Sun Energy has been a journey of advancing clean energy and empowering communities in Botswana, Malawi, and Zambia. Proud of our team, 50% women strong!" Eunice told us.

Congratulations on this achievement, Eunice! We can't wait to see what happens next.
