Richard Duke is an experienced Human Resources professional. He is currently a PhD researcher at the Adam Smith Business School, where his work challenges traditional leadership models by focusing on leaderless organisations like Black Lives Matter. Grounded in Critical Race Theory, Richard’s research delves into how these social movements achieve their goals without hierarchical leadership structures.

He has a Masters degree in Human Resources Management from the University of Westminster and an MBA degree from the University of Wales. He is also a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) and a Fellow of the Institute of Leadership (UK).

Richard’s study aims to unlock new insights for social movements, contributing valuable knowledge to the field of organisational leadership.
