Prof Lucas Recognised by the RSE and IET, and becomes Dean of Research

Prof Margaret Lucas was elected a Fellow of the RSE, awarded the IET Achievement Medal for Ultrasonic Technology, and has become the new Dean of Research for the College of Science and Engineering at the University of Glasgow.
Prof. Margaret Lucas was elected a Fellow of the Royal Society of Edinburgh (RSE) and awarded an Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET) Achievement Medal, for her world-leading research in ultrasonic surgical devices and high-power ultrasonics applications.
Just before the Christmas holiday, it was also announced that Prof Lucas will be the new Dean of Research for the College of Science and Engineering at the University of Glasgow.
