This week, the Mazumdar-Shaw Advanced Research Centre (ARC) plays host to the EPSRC Engineering Net Zero Showcase, from Tuesday 21 to Thursday 23 June.

This event aims to promote how engineering and physical sciences create today’s opportunities to clean up our natural environment, showing how they are critical to the discovery, development and deployment of net zero solutions to tackle the known and anticipated effects of climate change.

While there is a foundation in engineering and the physical sciences, the showcase will be truly interdisciplinary and bring together a mix of disciplines across the EPSRC remit and beyond around four thematic areas:

  • towards net zero energy
  • solutions for a greener industry and urbanisation
  • our green future
  • delivering zero emissions transport and mobility solutions.

This is a fantastic opportunity to engage with exciting and interesting panel sessions and plenary talks, as well as an exhibition from significant EPSRC investments on our door step. It would be great to have a large UofG turnout for this exciting event – registration is free at this link: https://www.ukri.org/events/epsrc-engineering-net-zero-showcase/
