The UK Government’s Turing Scheme has launched the second application round to fund work and study abroad taking place in 2022/23.

The Turing Scheme began last year following the UK’s withdrawal from the Erasmus programme and the University of Glasgow was successful in securing £1.34M to fund 550 student mobilities. A priority for the Scheme is to increase access to international experiences with an emphasis on supporting students from disadvantaged backgrounds.

University of Glasgow’s 2022/23 institutional bid will include student exchange (year and semester abroad) and work placements (compulsory and summer opportunities).

There is also an opportunity to include short term mobility projects of 4-12 weeks and we are inviting submissions from across the Colleges and Schools deadline 22 April. For more information and to submit a project click here www.gla.ac.uk/myglasgow/students/goabroad/turing-scheme-2022-2023/
