Short Description

As part of their role, healthcare professionals (HCPs) are likely to teach students, trainees, peers and/or other HCPs. Even where they have considerable experience in teaching or otherwise facilitating learning, they may not be knowledgeable about the evidence-base for their teaching practice. Moreover, even where HCPs are familiar with clinical research, they may be unfamiliar with the criteria against which the evidence base for their teaching practice is judged. This course aims to develop HCPs' ability to identify and critique the evidence-base for their professional teaching practice, and to evaluate current and/or key ideas in teaching.
