Two written assignments (each 1500 words) (40% each)

One online class test (submission open for 48 hours) (20%)

Course Aims

This course aims to introduce students to the disciplines of Business and Management and to enable students to develop academic literacies necessary for Level 1 undergraduate study in Business and Management.

Intended Learning Outcomes of Course

By the end of this course students will be able to:

■ Identify key themes and concepts in Business and Management 

■ Use concepts and theories relating to Business and Management to explain and analyse a range of associated problems

■ Communicate in a logical and effective manner, using key terminology from these fields as required for University Level 1

Minimum Requirement for Award of Credits

Students must submit at least 75% by weight of the components (including examinations) of the course's summative assessment.
