Ian Fletcher (LLB 1969) has written a new oratorio Jonah, based on the Biblical story, which headlines a rich programme with a Theme of the Sea this May 9 at London’s Cadogan Hall.

 


Featuring performances from The National Symphony Orchestra, the London Symphony Chorus, the Farnham Youth Choir and four professional soloists all conducted by John Andrews, including Mendelssohn’s Hebrides Overture, items from Wagner’s Flying Dutchman, two items from Gilbert & Sullivan’s HMS Pinafore and The Pirates of Penzance.
