The University of Glasgow Archive Services is delighted to host a guest blog, written by alumna and historian, Bernadette Cahill (MA 1971), to mark Women's History Month 2021.

The article explores Bernadette's family history, including the fascinating story of her mother Margaret McCann, a suffragette who campaigned for women's rights as a student at the University of Glasgow, which she traced with the help of the UofG Archives.

Read Bernadette's article on the UofG Archive Services blog: 'Archivists help women's history hunt, help uncover family mysteries'.
